OUR TEAM SPOTLIGHT

Project Coordinator

Esha

A domestic-workers organiser for a decade before SSW, Esha set the rule the whole organization runs on: nothing about women, decided without women.

“We are not giving women a voice. They always had one. We are finally listening.”
HR & Organizational Representative

Uzma

A former schoolteacher who designed our first literacy circle of forty women in one rented room. She now oversees programs across thirty-two districts.

“"Sustainable support means moving beyond short-term aid to build lasting pathways where women have the tools, agency, and resources to thrive on their own terms."”
Founder & Director, Implementation

Ali Hassan

Ali Hassan joined SSW as a participant in the first stitching cohort, graduated top of it, and now trains every facilitator we hire.

“The curriculum is not finished until a woman with no schooling can teach it onward.”
Director, Strategy & Development

Umar Khan

As Director of Strategy & Development at Sustainable Support for Women (SS4W), Umar Khan leads strategic planning, organizational scaling, and development initiatives aimed at advancing gender equity and economic empowerment.

“True empowerment isn't just about creating opportunities—it's about building the sustainable frameworks that turn those opportunities into lasting independence for women.”
